Providence ¡CityArts! for Youth is a community arts organization with a mission to provide free professional arts education to Providence youth between ages 8-14. ¡CityArts! serves over 1200 youth in afterschool, daytime, and summer arts programs citywide, offering meaningful learning experiences in visual art and design, performing arts, and creative writing. Our work is inspired by the creative process of art-making and the exploration of ideas and concepts that shape our communities and everyday lives.

The playground in Slater Park is a lot of fun for kids of all ages. They have two large spiderweb climbers, a play structure suitable for older children as well as a section for young children/toddlers. There are swings, slides & right outside the gate is a large elephant statue. There is plenty of free parking, and Daggett Farm is practically right next to the playground. Within Daggett Farm there are ride on toys for kids to play with and animals to look at. Be aware that Daggett has very limited shade. Bring sunscreen and know that it gets hot! There is also lots to explore within Slater Park itself.

This is a cute little playground perfect for toddlers and young children. It has two small play structures, one with a few slides and a small tunnel for kids to crawl through. The fence is colorfully painted and there is a shaded pavilion as well as some benches and a picnic table.

Music Together in Barrington is an early childhood music and movement program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the adults who love them.

This is a small playground with one play structure and two swing sets. The play structure has one slide and some monkey bars. One of the swing sets has baby swings. There are a few benches and not much shade.

This large playground has a ton for kids to do. There is a huge spider web climber with a net like feature kids will love climbing on. There is a fun wooden tower with a covered slide, and a separate toddler sections. In addition you will find alligators, a fire engine, small climbing walls, and bridges. A covered gazebo provides nice shade for snacking.

This playground is located behind the town hall and near the library. It has a dozen swings including two oversized,, a truck to drive, alligators to play on on, a spider web climber, slides, a rope bridge, hammock and a large tower. Smooth surface throughout.

This beautiful playground lives up to it’s reputation. It is enormous and has so many things for kids to play on and explore. Swings, slides, play structures, play houses, see-saws, ride on toys, a boat to climb in, a “schoolhouse” to pretend play, you name it, it’s there! There’s even a koi fish pond. The playground does ask for a donation of $2 on entry to maintain it.
