This beautiful playground lives up to it’s reputation. It is enormous and has so many things for kids to play on and explore. Swings, slides, play structures, play houses, see-saws, ride on toys, a boat to climb in, a “schoolhouse” to pretend play, you name it, it’s there! There’s even a koi fish pond. The playground does ask for a donation of $2 on entry to maintain it.

This great playground within Roger Williams Park has so much to do and explore. There are several play structures, swings including two oversized swings. There is a candy land style rainbow road that kids love to run on, features designed for imaginative play, and monkey bars. In the unlikely event that the kids get bored with the playground there are endless other things to explore within the rest of the park.

Located amid 40 acres of beautiful woodlands, Roger Williams Park Zoo provides visitors the opportunity to see animals from all over the globe – some more than a million years old. Primrose was created to provide meaningful educational opportunities through play in a warm and naturalistic environment.
