Primrose was created to provide meaningful educational opportunities through play in a warm and naturalistic environment. We are comprised of one toddler classroom and Pre-k classroom, providing an intimate experience for families. Our students begin at 18 months and families have the option of choosing a schedule of 2-5 days per week.Â
Young children are active learners who benefit most from hands-on activities. Primrose teachers approach every activity with the intention of creating a meaningful learning experience that is individualized to meet each child’s needs. At Primrose Preschool we also believe in the importance of time outdoors as there are lessons learned in nature that cannot be taught within the classroom. Time spent outdoors enhances creative play, provides natural opportunities for the development of social and motor skills,  and teaches children an appreciation for the world around them.
Rhode Island Advocacy for Children is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization that was found by parents of children with special needs. Our organization works to advocate for children by helping families navigate through the complexities of educational rights. We work to provide a voice to families and to advocate for their child’s unique needs. We know that it takes courage to ask for help and how overwhelming it is to navigate through an educational system that doesn’t work for your child. We are the additional support that families need to discover their child’s potential and to remove educational obstacles.

With tons to do, this playground will not disappoint. There are swings, slides, toy climbing walls, a rocking balance beam, as well as the expected play structures and swings.

- Beautiful, secure area with creative playground for kids. This area is gated, the area is entirely fenced making it a secure area for tots to run. The many different structures/boats/slides/seesaws/spinny chair things and balance beams make this playground tops in my book. Lots of benches/sidewalks trees on the edges for shade. It abuts a gated basketball court as well!

This beautiful playground lives up to it’s reputation. It is enormous and has so many things for kids to play on and explore. Swings, slides, play structures, play houses, see-saws, ride on toys, a boat to climb in, a “schoolhouse” to pretend play, you name it, it’s there! There’s even a koi fish pond. The playground does ask for a donation of $2 on entry to maintain it.
