Join the Ocean State Montessori School community for our annual Fall Open House, which kicks off admissions for the 2021-2022 school year. This great playground within Roger Williams Park has so much to do and explore. There are several play structures, swings including two oversized swings. There is a candy land style rainbow road that kids love to run on, features designed for imaginative play, and monkey bars. In the unlikely event that the kids get bored with the playground there are endless other things to explore within the rest of the park.
Located amid 40 acres of beautiful woodlands, Roger Williams Park Zoo provides visitors the opportunity to see animals from all over the globe – some more than a million years old. Naturalistic surroundings are home to more than 150 animals including a Komodo dragon, as well as zebras, red pandas, African elephants, Masai giraffes, snow leopards, bears, anteaters, flamingoes, sloths, alligators and more!
Kids from two to 102 have the opportunity to feed giraffes and harbor seals, as well as an array of farmyard animals. For something slightly out of the ordinary, visit our new Explore and Soar area offering an exhilarating zip ride, a train excursion through the woodlands and camel rides.

This playground is part of the Norman Olson Park and has a swings as well as a medium sized play structure with a slide and climbing elements. There is little shade, so pack sunscreen.

This playground is located next to the cemetary on Turnpike Ave. It has a large play structure with a climbing wall and slides, as well as a very small geo-dome that younger children could safely climb on. There is also a swing set. Although it is not fully fenced it is set back from the street.

This playground boasts gigantic climbing structures, a tall slide, swings and a small sandbox. If you get bored of the play gound you can explore India Point Park and check out the water.
